About

Helping great stories find their audience.

I spent the first decade of my career inside publishing houses, watching extraordinary books disappear into a marketplace that didn't know how to find them. The studio exists because of those books.

We work with a small number of authors each year — by design. Marketing a book well takes time, taste, and the patience to let a story breathe.

Sandra Beckwith
Short bio

A marketer who learned inside publishing houses.

I'm Sandra Beckwith, a book marketing strategist with over twelve years spent between editorial offices, launches, and the quiet work of helping readers discover books they'll love. I've launched debut novels, revived backlist gems, and built campaigns that treat the author's voice as the headline.

My approach

Strategy first, then cinematic craft.

Every campaign begins with a single question: what does this story want to do? From there, we design a reader journey — a trailer that stops the scroll, a launch plan that respects the author's pace, and outreach that introduces the book to the right communities instead of interrupting the wrong ones.

What to expect

Honest counsel, hands-on execution, real results.

  • A clear strategy tailored to your book and your goals
  • Cinematic assets you'll be proud to share
  • Curated introductions to engaged readers
  • Regular updates without the marketing jargon
Mission

To bring more good books to more right readers — and to do it with the care the writing deserves.

Philosophy

Marketing is an extension of the work, not a layer added afterward. The teaser, the campaign, the outreach — all of it tells the book's story.

The Promise

Honest counsel, cinematic craft, and a campaign you'll be proud to call yours.

Values

The principles behind every campaign.

01

Story first

We start with the book, not the campaign. Every decision flows from what the story is trying to do.

02

Quiet over loud

Considered campaigns outlast viral ones. We build for the readers who stay.

03

Craft as marketing

Good marketing is indistinguishable from good art. The teaser is part of the book.

04

Reader respect

We never interrupt. We introduce. Readers feel the difference.

Kind Words

From the writers we've quietly championed.

"Sandra approached my launch with the eye of a film director and the patience of a publisher. The teaser she produced sold the book before reviews ever came in."

Eleanor Vance
Literary fiction author

"Working with Sandra felt less like hiring a marketer and more like gaining a creative partner who understood my story."

Marcus Chen
Memoir

"Her book club outreach changed everything. Suddenly readers were talking about my novel in living rooms across three countries."

Aniya Okafor
Debut novelist

"I was skeptical about book trailers until I saw what Sandra made. It was elegant, restrained, and made people actually want to read."

Thomas Reed
Historical fiction author

"She turned my launch from a date on a calendar into an experience. The trailer, the assets, the outreach — it all felt like one story."

Camila L.
Romance author

"Sandra doesn't chase algorithms. She builds trust with readers. That's why my nonfiction book found its audience and stayed there."

Priya Narasimhan
Non-fiction author
